While most New Age Music leaves one wondering about the state of nature and the plight of spotted owls, Michael Cretu's Enigma leaves you in a STATE OF LUST! Enigma released their MCMXC a.D. album in 1990 (as the title states)- The Principles of Lust which is comprised of three seperate movements quickly found its way onto the NEW AGE charts followed by a strong crossover into the POP market. The song is very erotic and extremely suggestive while leaving the greater experience to the listener's imagination. Sexual content? plenty... sexual language? none. This is a great example of sex in music that is ALL in the mind.
