Gangster-funk rapper Akinyele (aka Akinyele Adams) bought into the obscenity-laced recordings of 2 Live Crew with his own homage to sex on his 1993 debut. After moving to Zoo Records the infamous Akinyele found an underground... way underground, radio hit with the title track from his 1996 EP, Put It in Your Mind. Akinyele has some new tracks but they are nothing but tired follow-ups to what once was nothing but a novelty act. No doubt Akinyele fans (there really are some... a few maybe.) will love more of the same. Aktapuss: The Soundtrack was released (vommited?) in 1999. Akinyele will never have to worry about being invited to speak or perform at Lilith Fair!
