Chicago's in the Summer
Chicago
There’s no other city in the world that becomes so vibrant and alive in the summer months than Chicago. Concerts upon concerts, street festivals from Grant Park to Wicker Park, the Taste of Chicago, Navy Pier and the stunning lakefront, which offers miles of beach to run, bike, fish, swim and have a good time.
Northerly Island
In June 2005, a state-of-the-art concert venue was built at the northern end of the island. The 7,500-seat Charter One Pavilion host’s concerts from some of today's most popular artists. The Pavilion also boasts an awesome!!! view of the Chicago’s skyline. For further information or up coming events just log on to

Navy Pier
If you want live music a cool breeze and good food than schedule a trip down to Chicago’s Navy Pier. “Chicago’s lakefront playground”. More than 50 acres of parks, promenades, beer gardens, shops, restaurants and attractions. Also, if you want to take a romantic dining cruise around Chicago’s skyline, then get on board The Odyssey (www.OdysseyCruises.com) or the Sprit of Chicago (www.spirtofchicago.com).
A Whole evening can be scheduled around Navy Pier for more information log on to www.navypier.com.
Ravinia
If you truly want to have an impressive night out and enjoy music under the stars, then I would recommend attending any of the concerts held at the Ravinia. What a magnificent location for entertainment, very peaceful and elegant. There’s plenty to do, if you want to have a picnic and relax you can do that, if you want to eat at one of their upscale restaurants then attend one of their venues that also an option.
Artists and groups range from Elvis Costello, Tony Bennett to Hottie and the Blowfish. So whatever your tastes in music the Ravinia will definitely supply your fulfillment.
There’s tons of stuff to do you can make it an all day or night event. Log on to their website to check out all the fun and excitement the Ravinia Festival has to offer.
