A Tribe Called Quest – Beats, Rhymes and Life Y. 1996
This is great CD for those who call themselves true Heads. The fist song Phony Rappers pretty much labels must hip-hop groups today. Lets just hope this trend reverses and produces more groups like A Tribe Called Quest.
KRS-ONE – I Got Next Y. 1997
KRS-One is hip-hop and he defines his status in this 1997 release I Got Next. Just listen to Step Into a World (Raptures Delight) and you will see why he is the hip-hop genre.
