Handsome Boy Modeling School
The re-teaming of Prince Paul and Dan The Automator has produced the 2nd Handsome Boy Modeling School album. The first colaboration of the creative duo brought forth the album So How's Your Girl? (Original Release Date: October 19, 1999). As has become the expected norm from Dan The Automator, the album blended rap, turntablism, trip-hop, and well placed tongue-in-cheek humor. It was a winning combination then and now.
The new album, slated for release on November 9, 2004 is titled White People and once again blends hip-hop, rock, roots, alternative and jazz seamlessly and in a way that makes the individual and distinct genres morph into something more, something bigger, something that's hella fun, funky and definitely cool.
Always known for bringing the star-power,tracks the album feature PHARRELL, MIKE PATTON, CHINO (DEFTONES), CAT POWER, JACK JOHNSON, LINKIN PARK, DE LA SOUL, RZA, MARS VOLTA, KID KOALA, DJ SHADOW and JOHN OATES. Come on now, that's an impressive line-up for any album, but backed by the creativity of the Handsome Boy Modeling School, it's outrageous!
