Ludacris Back for the First Time with What's Your Fantasy Remix

This is Ludacris! And it is.
Crazy, weird, tight, nice,
and definitely a hit.
The man attacked the charts
with a personal "Fantasy"
So, BIG BAER checked the reality and it's not far from the name.

Sitting in a room at Universal's offices, Ludacris made himself comfortable while we got the camera up and runnin. He wasn't shy for the film, and was truly personable. We sat down and due to schedules, made the conversation sweet and to the point.

He started off doing talent shows, performing here and there, anywhere with a mic, tried to get signed, and then finally realized (as many people are nowadays) that he could sell his CD himself.so he did. The first album was called "Incognegro." And it was hitting the charts heavy in the south.

"As soon as Scarface heard it, (and he's running Def Jam) we worked out a deal. We revamped the album, worked in some new tracks and "Ludacris" was back for the first time." .We laced tracks with Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, and Organized Noise." he adds, (and he says this casually, as if like he was namin' some of his cousins and they cut the stuff in his basement.)

The masterminds that collaborated on this album are some of the biggest names in the industry and Ludicrous favorably added that he wasn't through.

"I'd like to work with Dr. Dre, production wise, and my other Def Jam label mates Jay-Z and his crew, you know?"

I take a pause to ponder on the loveliness of such a musical mesh and then question. "So where does Ludacris come from?"

He smiles and gives a rough chuckle "Well I'm wild and crazy, and my first name is Chris, so.it's just a creative title I came up with?"

I nod in agreement, and ask what advise he has for other aspiring artists. I'm pretty sure people are sick enough of hearing how cutthroat the business is, so I'll leave it out. (But it is) and he says, "If you want it done, do it yourself. Don't wait for these labels to just come up and sign you, cause it might not happen."

He also says to pick up his album, It'll make you a believer in him as well. He gives a mac daddy glance at the camera, loving the attention and as I notice it, I get a flash of bubbles, and soap and certain video shots, and blurt out. "Now I gotta ask, what's up with you and Baby girl in the Tub?!"

He laughs hard, off guard and says through his smile "That's China from the Gentlemen's Club in Atlanta!.." Then his face gets serious and he says brotherly. "Yo, she's really a sweet girl. She sings and writes poems.she's cool."

And because it's none of my damn business. (And none of yours either) I decided to ask if they were "kickin it" and he laughs.

"Naw, I'm single."

(So, it's okay ladies.but you still got mad competition.)

Lookin at the clock, I see it's about time to wrap this up, so for a finally, I question him on the wildest thing that's ever happened to him on the road so far. And he tells this story...

"Yo, we were out at the strip club, and this girl was dancing. But her mother showed up and was screaming and telling us that was her daughter; not upset or anything, she was just happy to meet us. And after we left the club, the mother came back on the tour bus with her kid and she started strippin' for us! It was wild.

Now, although Ludicrous admits he's not touring soon, he is concentrating on promoting the album. So look out for appearances near you.

"At the strip club?!!" I ask a little too geaked, I admit.
