Post-prog Metal Ruby Bullet Has "Nothing Left to Bleed On"
Trio loses guitar player, releases debut album for free download.
New York, NY (PRWEB) September 28, 2005 -- Melodic, post-prog metal trio Ruby Bullet has released their debut album "Nothing Left to Bleed on". The album is available for free download through www.rubybullet.com.
The release came less than a week after guitarist Josh Rivel announced his departure from the project.
For the remaining members, releasing the album for free was an instictual choice. "This took everything we had to make," says bassist/vocalist Suzanne Sterne. "I think we made a really great record and I want as many people to hear it as possible."
The eight track debut was recorded and mixed with Grammy-winning engineer and producer Jason Corsaro (Soundgarden, Motorhead) and features original cover artwork by Amanda Keeys.
And what about not being able perform live to support the record? "The band has been Pete (Vassil, drummer) and I from the beginning," says Sterne. "I'm positive we'll be able to fill the position with the right player very soon."
Sterne and Vassil are currently auditioning guitar players in their New York City studio.
"Nothing Left to Bleed on" is available for download through www.rubybullet.com.
