This Season’s Gimme the Mike winner wins free studio time at SugarHill

This season’s Local 2/KPRC’s hit show Gimme the Mike winner has been announced. Country music singer Christy Suggett won the finale of the fourth season of the show, receiving a lucrative 2 song production deal from the legendary SugarHill Recording Studios as part of the show’s grand prize.

Houston, TX, (PRWEB) October 16, 2005 -- This season’s Local 2/KPRC’s hit show Gimme the Mike winner has been announced. Country music singer Christy Suggett won the finale of the fourth season of the show, receiving a lucrative 2 song production deal from the legendary SugarHill Recording Studios as part of the show’s grand prize.

Gimme the Mike is Houston’s local singing talent show, where contestants compete in front of a panel of judges and the winner is awarded a slew of prizes.

The highest combined scores from the judges determines the winner; however viewers also get the chance to vote for a “Wildcard Contestant” by going online and casting their votes 2 hours after the show.
Twenty-five talented singers battled it out on stage in August and September and Suggett won with a perfect score of 40.

SugarHill’s grand prize production deal includes music arrangement, recording and mixing 2 songs, and will be supervised by Engineer/Producer Dan Workman. Workman an elected NARAS Governor is co-owner/President of SugarHill Recording Studios has recorded renowned artists including Beyonce, ZZ Top, Clay Walker and Destiny’s Child.
